Godzilla Minus One Blu-ray U.S. Release Date
Unfortunately, fans outside Japan await a North American release date for “Godzilla Minus One” home media. Its official streaming debut on Amazon Prime Japan is May 3rd, but international availability remains unconfirmed. Fans may consider importing the film or monitoring international release announcements.
When “Godzilla Minus One” won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, marking Toho’s first Oscars win in the franchise’s 70-year history, director Takashi Yamazaki remarked:
40 years ago, I was inspired by “Star Wars” and “Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind” to embark on my career. As a non-Hollywood resident, the prospect of standing here seemed far-fetched.
