Ross Marquand, the actor behind Professor X in X-Men ’97, appeared on ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast. The interview covered Marquand’s extensive career, including his roles as Aaron in The Walking Dead, Ultron in Avengers: Damage Control, Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness, Infinity Ultron in What If…?, and now Doctor Doom in X-Men ’97.

Marquand decided to leave acting before joining “The Walking Dead” as Aaron. During this time, he booked the secret role of Red Skull in “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame,” learning the secrets of the character upon arrival. Later, his childhood admiration for Professor X from “X-Men: The Animated Series” inspired him to pursue acting. He went on to portray this character in future projects.
