Kristen Stewart, known for her role in the Twilight saga, embarks on a new vampire venture in Panos Cosmatos’ Flesh of the Gods. The film co-stars Oscar Isaac, marking a collaboration between the Star Wars and Marvel alumni. Adam McKay and Betsy Koch produce the project through Hyperobject Industries, while Isaac and Gena Konstantinakos contribute as producers under Mad Gene Media.

Set in Los Angeles during the 1980s, “Flesh of the Gods” will be written by Andrew Kevin Walker, scribe of “Se7en,” from a story he created with Cosmatos. The movie, which has yet to secure a distributor, will have its domestic rights sales handled by CAA and WME, while XYZ Films will handle international sales at the Marché du Film in Cannes this year.

“Per the producers, the story follows a married couple, Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric nighttime realm of ’80s LA. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic woman and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence.”

“Inhabiting a liminal realm between fantasy and nightmare, like Los Angeles itself, Flesh of the Gods propels you on a hypnotic hot rod joy ride into the glittering abyss of hell,” explained Cosmatos in a statement.

Kristen Stewart Talks Twilight‘s Romance:

In her recent interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kristen Stewart shared her thoughts on the iconic Twilight romance between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. She revealed that, if she were Bella, she would have ended their relationship due to Edward’s overprotectiveness and controlling nature.

Stewart argued that the man was attempting to control the woman’s choices. She stated that if a partner restricted her from pursuing her own desires, she would end the relationship. Stewart emphasized her belief that her life decisions should be hers alone, and that she would not tolerate interference in this regard.

Look out for more updates on Flesh of the Gods, slated to begin production later this year.
