Epic Games may have additional surprises in store for the May the Fourth eve release of Force-filled additions to Fortnite. According to Fortnite leaker Shiina on X, a Yoda Gear Bundle will be included in tomorrow’s update, featuring Yoda’s Cane as a pickaxe and the iconic Jedi Master as back bling.
The imagery in the upcoming Star Wars x Fortnite collaboration will evoke the iconic scene from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, where Yoda rides on Luke Skywalker’s back through the misty swamps of Dagobah. This memorable and revered moment captures the essence of the Force and Jedi training, making it a natural choice for inclusion in the collaboration.
What Else Is New?
Shiina accurately predicted future in-game events, such as the release of Avatar: The Last Airbender items. Additionally, they estimated the cost of the Star Wars collection at around 12,000 V-Bucks, providing players with advance notice to prepare their resources.
For those unwilling to spend V-Bucks, certain quests offer complimentary gear, with premium battle pass holders enjoying exclusive access. Additionally, with the May 3rd update, Fortnite enthusiasts can purchase new outfits for Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, and the AWR Trooper, along with returning outfits. The store will also stock the Beskar Car Body with Mandalorian paint schemes; the “Mad About Me” Jam Track, Endorian Drum Kit, and Nalargon Keytar.
The Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration spans multiple game modes, representing various Star Wars eras from the original to the sequel trilogies. In Battle Royale, players can:
* Liberate Chewbacca and gain his Wookiee Bowcaster
* Fight and loot Darth Vader and Stormtroopers, including Vader’s lightsaber
* Earn rewards by completing quests
